Why do people still use Twitter X

Why do people still use Twitter / X even though it's a toxic social platform with toxic politics? WHY DOES TWITTER HAVE TO FORCE US TO LOG IN JUST TO VIEW OTHERS TWEETS? I am not comfortable with that because if I log in, I see Twitter's trends which are always about BAD NEWS, TOXIC POLITICS, NFTs, AND OTHER STUFF THAT I DO NOT CARE ABOUT!
People, please start using platforms not as toxic as Twitter like Mastodon and Instagram. ESPECIALLY GAME DEVELOPERS!
Who in their right sane mind would still use Twitter / X to this day?!?!?!?!?!?!

Personally, I love twitter. I think I've learned to navigate around the 'bad' parts of it. I've learned that, every single thing that happens there isn't something worth commenting or fighting about. I used to get into arguements with people on there too often, and it's really not worth it for the long run. SO blocking and muting certain words, etc. makes it easier. I just stick around for the cool artworks, and people obsessing over series, movies, etc I like. It's fun when you make it fun :) It's your space so you can adjust it to make yourself comfortable
